The museums of Grasse have a documentation centre and a library available by appointment.

The collection of the Musée d'Art et d'Histoire de Provence is notably dedicated to archaeology, ceramics, regional history and Jean-Honoré Fragonard. It has about 25,000 books, 50 subscriptions, 25,000 prints, a library of old photographs and archives from the 18th century.

The collection of the Musée International de la Parfumerie includes 39,000 books and magazines focusing on bottle making, the history of perfumery and cosmetics, techniques, botany, olfaction, taste, etc. A dozen subscriptions and a digital photo library (about 90,000 photographs) complete the collection.
